The Swiss kidney Stone Cohort (SKSC) have included stone formers throughout Switzerland between 2014 and 2020 and have collected a broad array of longitudinal data for 3 three years (stone composition, urine and blood biological data, food intake assessment using 24h recall interview collected by trained dieticians,… a full list can be found in the description of the protocol). Moreover, patients are called every other year for a total of 10 years follow-up.
In parallel, a control group of 200 individuals without kidney stone (by history and on an abdominal CT-scan) was subjected to the same initial protocol and allows direct comparison.
You will find here 3 types of information on the SKSC:
- A description of the cohort and the available data/samples open for collaboration.
- The contacts of the leaders of the cohort for any question you may have and a form that allows you to apply for collaborative projects
- Publications using data of the SKSC are posted.
